Parasuram (2003 film)

Parasuram is a 2003 Tamil language film starring Arjun Sarja, Abbas, Goundamani, Kiran Rathod, Gayathri Raguram and others. The film entails the efforts of Officer Parasuram Arjun against Akash, a terrorist who converts the youth of India into suicide bombers.

The film was initially launched under the title Ashoka with Shaji Kailas as director. Later he was removed from the film as Arjun was not satisfied with his work with Arjun himself taking the reins of directorial. The films title was changed as Parasuram.The score and soundtrack were composed by music maestro A.R. Rahman. The rerecording for background score was done by Pravin Mani himself as stated by Rahman amp credited in the movie. The soundtrack is regarded as average by Rahmans standard. ........
